MASS MoCA announces its upcoming events.

“Technologies of Relation” will be on view beginning Saturday, February 21, in the Robert W. Wilson building. Responding to the rapidly advancing technologies that are shaping daily lives and social fabric, the artists in “Technologies of Relation” examine how people relate to each other, to devices, and to the future. Join MASS MoCA for related programming celebrating the show including an artist discussion and member celebration on Saturday, February 21, and a curator tour on Saturday, March 7, for MASS MoCA members.

On Friday and Saturday, March 13 and14, a public symposium entitled ”Contemporary Nature: Tending the Garden” will be held at Club B10 on the MASS MoCA campus, and will explore questions about our ecological future. Artists, scholars, and students convene to share experiences on what co-becoming means in art, gardening, and land stewardship practices. There will be a keynote address by writer and philosopher Báyò Akómoláfé; additional presenters include Pallavi Sen, Sarah Workneh, Alejandra Salinas, Aeron Bergman, Amanda Lovelee, Jessica Gersony, Camila Marambio, and Christy Gast.Tickets are $50 in advance and $40 for students.
