Next Stage hosts reception for Finn Campman's “Home Land” exhibit

Next Stage Arts announces the opening of “Home Land,” a solo exhibition of paintings by Putney-based artist Finn Campman. The opening reception will be held on Sunday, February 15, from 3 to 5 pm at the Next Stage Gallery, 15 Kimball Hill.

In "Home Land," Campman explores the intimate relationship between place, memory, and artistic practice. Through these works, Campman invites viewers to witness the landscape as both a personal and universal home land.

Campman, a Putney School alumnus, studied printmaking, poetry, and literature at Sarah Lawrence College, then joined the Sandglass Theater in 1991 and later founded Company of Strangers. Currently, Campman focuses on painting, electronic music with the band The Brothers Chorizo, and teaching English and art at Hilltop Montessori School.

"Home Land" will remain on exhibit through Sunday, May 10. The Next Stage Gallery is open during events, by appointment with the artist or by contacting Next Stage at info@nextstagearts.org or (802) 387-0102. For additional information and to RSVP for the opening reception go to nextstagearts.org.
