BDCC hosts department of labor speaker
Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation (BDCC) will host the third session of the Windham County Leadership series on Friday, February 13. The event, which includes lunch, will run from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 45 Chickering Drive, Suite 001.
The program will feature Kevin Stapleton, assistant director of the Economic & Labor Market Information division of the Vermont Department of Labor. Stapleton will speak on key labor market trends and what they mean for local employers, growing industries, and the future of Vermont’s economy. Stapleton uses raw data to create clear narratives about the population already working in Vermont, where gaps are, and which industries are primed for growth.
The Windham Leadership Series brings together leaders from across the region wanting access to timely information and clear data for meaningful cross-sector discussion about the forces moving the local economy. Each session features a speaker with practical experience, strong data or insights that help envision new possibilities for Windham County. The series will support practical learning and encourage participants to compare notes with peers navigating similar decisions.
