Bandwagon summer series heads to Bellows Falls

The Mammals

Next Stage Arts continues its Bandwagon Summer Series with a Folk, Roots, & Americana Music Festival on Saturday, July 18, at Robertson Paper Company Field, 21 Island Street. The festival begins at 4 pm, with gates opening at 3.

Featuring acclaimed Americana favorites The Mammals, veteran singer-songwriter Michael Veitch Band, and rising folk quartet Doozy Jane, the festival celebrates song, storytelling, and community.

Together, these artists create a tapestry of folk traditions, modern roots music, and Americana spirit. Whether drawn to the harmonies, the storytelling or the sense of community, audiences will find an afternoon and evening of music that celebrates connection and shared experience. Food vendors for the festival include Smokin’ Bowls, Taza Afghan Foods + Catering, and The Blue Pig. A cash bar will also be available onsite.

The Bandwagon Summer Series is a family-friendly outdoor cultural performance series running from June through September, and features a diverse range of musical styles, puppetry, and circus arts. Performances take place at fields, farms, and parks throughout Putney, Brattleboro, Dummerston, and Bellows Falls.

Children under 12 are admitted free to all Bandwagon performances. Each event includes a dedicated children’s play area, food vendors, and refreshments. Audience members are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics to enjoy the performances in a relaxed outdoor setting.

Tickets are $28 in advance, $32 at the gate, and free for children under 12. Advance tickets are available at nextstagearts.org.
