The Windham Philharmonic closes its season on Monday, June 1, 7 pm, at the Latchis Theatre, 50 Main Street, with an evening of six orchestral movements, six composers, six moods. Watch the invention of a Symphony that doesn’t exist.
The evening will include performances of Nielsen’s Symphony No. 5, the slow movement from Bruckner’s Symphony No. 6, Stravinsky’s Circus Polka, Von Weber’s Symphony No. 2, Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No. 4, and finally, Beethoven’s ballet, “The Creatures of Prometheus.”
