Sarasa ensemble to perform final concert series featuring Bach

Sarasa Chamber Music Ensemble performs the final concert-set of its 2025-26 concert series, “Connection,” with a concert featuring the extended Bach family and its many musical talents on Friday, May 8, at 7 pm, at the Brattleboro Music Center, 72 Blanche Moyse Way. The program highlights works for oboe, strings, and continuo by sons Wilhelm Friedemann and Carl Philipp Emanuel, cousin Johann Bernhard, wife Anna Magdalena and the master himself, Johann Sebastian Bach. Sarasa will also perform in Cambridge, MA, as well perform for incarcerated teens at Massachusetts’ Department of Youth Services facilities.

Performers include Daniel Bates, oboe; Christina Day Martinson, Rebecca Nelson, and Danilo Bonina, violins; Anna Griffis, viola; Jennifer Morsches and Timothy Merton, cellos; and John McKean, harpsichord.
