Discussion on civic roles, responsibilites, and opportunities at Retreat Farm

Retreat Farm, Vermont Public Present, and Vermont Community Foundation are hosting “To Form a More Perfect…Community: The Roles, Responsibilities and Opportunities for Citizens, Community Members and Civic Leaders at this Auspicious Moment,” part of Retreat Farm’s “America at 250 Series,” on Thursday, September 17, at the Retreat Farm’s North Barn, 45 Farmhouse Square. Doors open at 6:30 pm, with the panel discussion beginning at 7.

This event brings together Vermont Public CEO, Vijay Singh; Front Porch Forum founder, Michael Wood-Lewis; president of Vermont Community Foundation, Dan Smith; and Columbia University student organizer and advocate, Django Grace, to discuss the challenges of economies, climates, civic cohesion, and humanity in rural communities. The panel will be moderated by Jane Lindholm of Vermont Public.
