Historical society potluck this Friday

NEWFANE-The Historical Society of Windham County invites the public to its annual potluck dinner and special program on Friday, August 28, starting at 6 pm, at NewBrook Fire Station, 698 Route 30. Bring a dish to share and catch up with neighbors and friends. Drinks are provided.

At 6:45, a special program, “Revolutionary Westminster,” by Jessie Haas, author and president of the Westminster Historical Society, will explore the conflicted and violent years when Westminster was at the center of events which helped create a free nation and today’s Vermont. Admission is free.
