A bittersweet farewell

To the Editor:
It is bittersweet, and important to me, to let readers know that this week’s edition will be my last as a regular reporting contributor for The Deerfield Valley News.
My first article was published in The Deerfield Valley News in 2016. I am deeply appreciative for the support I’ve received from the community in the ensuing 10 years. Thank you, especially, to those of you who gave me the chance to witness and write about your passions, achievements, struggles, and milestones. It has been an immense honor to be in conversation with you, and to document and shed light on the aspects of your lives you have generously shared with me.
I feel lucky that the Deerfield Valley is my home, and that The Deerfield Valley News is my hometown paper. I will continue to support the paper, as a reader and as a friend, for many years to come.
