To the Editor:
I am writing as a parent and community member deeply concerned about a decision currently being considered by the RVUSD Board: the reduction of our full-time school nurse to a part-time position. This is not a matter of budgetary necessity—by all accounts, the budget exists to maintain full-time coverage. Instead, it appears to be a decision driven by a select few members of the board, without transparency and without direct input from the families and children it most directly affects.
