Food Pantry grateful for Fill the Bus support

To the Editor:

Wowza, what an event the Fill the Bus at Farmhouse Market was! Over 2,200 food items, plus monetary donations, were given to the Deerfield Valley Food Pantry.

A huge thank you to David Petrie, the Farmhouse Market staff and customers, along with Upper Valley Produce for all of their support and donations. We are grateful to DBC Husqvarna for the use of an enclosed trailer for transporting the donations, and to our dedicated volunteers who helped load, unload, tally, and shelve the cases and individual foods received.

It is heartwarming to again witness the generosity of the Deerfield Valley community in assisting their neighbors in need of food support. Thank you to everyone who participated.
