Never forget: Honor veterans at Town Hill on Memorial Day
To the Editor:
Memorial Day is coming soon. We said we’d never forget. I said I’d never forget. Perhaps you did also.
It is to honor those that gave all. Sometimes it was even harder for those who did make it back to put their lives back together.
All wars have a reason and some may seem unworthy. All happened because some wanted to make a better life for others, that they may go free, attend a church of their choice, stop cruelty in places, and enjoy friends, family, work, and play here in America.
