Walk for Animals shares thanks, fundraising results
To the Editor:
About 60 people and 30 dogs joined the Windham County Humane Society’s Walk for Animals on Saturday. It was a beautiful morning full of cute dog meet and greets, a lovely stroll through town, games for the doggies, and treats and giveaways for everyone.
We raised nearly $26,000 for the care of shelter animals, and we could not have done it without you.
Kuna and Waffles were amazing mascots. We got at least half the walk from Kuna’s perspective on a GoPro.
