Republican Senate candidate doesn’t want any super-majority
Jon Hurdle Republican Rusty Sage is seeking one of the two state Senate seats for the Windham district in the November general election.
BRATTLEBORO—If you’re a resident of the Windham County senatorial district who wants lower taxes, less expensive healthcare, and more affordable housing, you might consider voting for Republican Rusty Sage, a fireman who’s running for the state Senate.
After winning an uncontested primary, Sage is now preparing for a campaign that aims to unseat at least one of the incumbent Democrats, Wendy Harrison and Nader Hashim, in November’s general election. Dale Gassett, the other Republican candidate for the Windham Senatorial district, was also unopposed in the primary.
