VT Secretary of State looks for ways of smoothing official permitting for businesses

WILMINGTON—Vermont’s Secretary of State visited two Wilmington businesses last Thursday on a “listening tour” of Windham County companies to ask them whether her office and other state agencies could do more to help.
Sarah Copeland-Hanzas stopped at Mill & Whistle, a recently opened coffee shop on Main Street, and at WheelPad, a maker of prefabricated homes for disabled people, to ask whether the state could do more to help business meet official requirements.
