Wilmington Planning Commission finalizes town plan draft

WILMINGTON—The Wilmington Planning Commission held its first public discussion on a final draft of the updated town plan on Monday, congratulating itself on a job well done, but calling for more public input at a meeting that attracted not a single member of the public.
The new Wilmington Town Plan – a year in the making, and eight years since the last update in 2018 - adds sections on energy, housing, and flood resilience to a document that, like earlier editions, also covers Wilmington’s history, economics, land use, transportation, demographics, and natural resources.
