Norma Sprague

Norma Sprague

Norma (Woods) Sprague died on Monday, May 18, surrounded by her loving family.

Norma lived a life devoted to faith, family, and caring for others. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness touched everyone she met. A faithful and dedicated member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Norma’s deep love for Jehovah guided her throughout her life and was reflected in the compassion and generosity she showed to others.

Norma was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Richard Sprague; her infant son, Michael Sprague; her parents, Ralph and Bertel (Burnett) Woods; her sister, Annette Capen; her brothers, Rollin Woods and Ronald Woods; and her cherished granddaughter, Anneliese Sprague.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Sprague Jr. and Steven Sprague; her brother, Ralph Woods; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her loving family, who will forever treasure her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Norma found joy in gardening, decorating her home, and traveling with family and friends. She had a special gift for making others feel welcome and cared for. Wherever she went, people often remarked, “She is such a sweet lady.” Those words perfectly captured the gentle spirit and genuine kindness that defined her.

Norma spent her entire life caring for others. Whether as a wife, mother, grandmother, friend or sister in faith, she gave of herself selflessly and wholeheartedly. Her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

The family takes comfort in the Bible’s promise of a resurrection and looks forward to the day when they will welcome Norma back in perfect health and peace.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
