Suzanne Pepin Bauer

Suzanne Pepin Bauer, 66, of West Dover, VT, died on April 26, surrounded by peace and love after a 12-year battle with brain cancer.

Suzanne was born on October 12, 1959, in Meriden, CT, to Richard Pepin and Marguerite Anderson. After graduating from Cromwell High School in 1977, Suzanne worked as a hairdresser before moving to West Dover to work in sales at Mount Snow Ski Resort. After fighting cancer the first time in 2014, Suzanne pursued her passion and established Suzanne Bauer Photography. Throughout her diverse work experience, Suzanne was determined to endlessly provide for her family.

Suzanne will continue to be loved by her two children, Brendan Bauer, of West Dover, and Mallory Bauer and her partner, Hannah Toomey, of Northampton, MA; her mother, Marguerite Pepin, of New Britain, CT; and her brother, Richard Pepin Jr., his wife Melissa Shipley-Pepin, and their daughter, Emma Pepin, of Middletown, CT.

Suzanne is remembered for her outrageous humor, unconditional love, endless generosity, and impressive creativity. She avidly loved her children and their passions of motocross racing and horseback riding. We will all miss her loving personality greatly.

Visiting hours will be held at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT, on Saturday, May 16, from 9 to 11 am, as well as a celebration of life at the Dover Town Hall, 22 Taft Brook Road, East Dover, on Saturday, October 3, at 12 pm. Loved ones are asked to send photos to LoveIsHealing2026@gmail.com and donations to the Friends of the Valley Foundation, Deerfield Valley Community Cares or Twice Blessed.
