NECCA proudly welcomes circus show

Circus show members perform in "Broken Open."

New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA), 10 Town Crier Drive, welcomes the circus show “Broken Open,” for two shows on Friday, May 8, at 5 and 8 pm.

The high-flying theatrical circus show is a modern circus tale in which a community navigates the trials and tribulations of growing up, growing together, and being torn apart. Told through acrobatics and feats of circus, “Broken Open” celebrates human ingenuity, pointing towards signs of hope and interdependence during challenging times.

NECCA is the premier circus arts training school in the United States and the performers are soon-to-be graduates of the school’s three-year full-time ProTrack program.

The show combines elements of circus and storytelling created under the direction of Marisol Rosa-Shapiro.

Tickets are $20 to $40 and are available at www.circusschool.org.
