UVM Extension offers in-person events to farmers across Vermont

UVM Extension Service is hosting a series of in‑person events across Vermont to help farmers navigate USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) and Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) programs.

At each event, participants will hear directly from a farmer and the NRCS Conservation Planner working with them, connect with FSA staff, and receive hands‑on support completing the paperwork needed to become eligible for funding.

These workshops are free but registration is required. Lunch is provided. When registering, please select one location. Locally, there is an event in Brattleboro on Thursday, March 5, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Other locations include Saint Albans, Saturday, March 7; Morrisville, Monday, March 9; Middlebury, Tuesday, March 17; St. Johnsbury, Tuesday, March 24; and Williston, Thursday, April 2. All events are at 10 am to 2 pm.

Contact Rachel Stievater at Rachel.Stievater@uvm.edu with any questions prior to the event.
