Valentine's Evening at the Clark that will feature art history, food, and fun

Enjoy dinner and the show on Valentine's Day
Join Manton Curator of prints, drawings, and photographs Anne Leonard for a special introduction to “Shadow Visionaries: French Artists Against the Current, 1840–70,” followed by a three-course meal inspired by 19th-century France. Constellation Culinary’s Chef Chris Gouty brings a creative spin to classical French cooking and the themes of memory, fantasy, and longing that anchor the exhibition. With subtle nods to Valentine’s Day, this “Dinner and the Show” combines art history, food, and fun.
The evening’s menu includes caramelized delicata squash and roasted beet salad, shrimp and lobster scampi, and Valrhona chocolate lava cake; vegetarian options are available upon request.
The Clark Center galleries will be open from 5:30 to 6:30 pm with docents stationed throughout. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm.
Tickets are $115, $95 for members. A ticket includes three courses and paired wine. Cash bar also available. Call (413) 458-0434 with any questions or dietary restrictions. Go to https://events.clarkart.edu/ and select “Valentine’s Day at the Clark.”
