Next Stage Arts and Twilight Music present double bill

É.T.É and duo Keith Murphy and Yann Falquet.

Next Stage Arts and Twilight Music, 15 Kimball Hill, present a double bill on Saturday, April 11, at 7:30 pm, featuring the Québécois trio É.T.É and the Celtic guitar duo of Keith Murphy and Yann Falquet. Doors open at 6:45.

The evening showcases two distinct but complementary acts, each offering a fresh take on traditional music. É.T.É comprises violinist Élisabeth Moquin, bouzouki player Thierry Clouette, and cellist Élisabeth Giroux. The trio draws on jazz, progressive rock, and classical influences.

The second half of the double bill features Murphy and Falquet, two of the leading voices in contemporary Celtic guitar. The work highlights the rhythmic possibilities the guitar has brought to traditional music since the Celtic revival of the 1970s. As singers, Murphy and Falquet blend Franco and Anglo traditions.

Together, these two acts offer an evening that bridges tradition and innovation. This event is sponsored in part by the Délégation du Québec à Boston. Tickets are $22 in advance, $26 at the door, and $10 for livestream access and are available at nextstagearts.org.
