Crosier family history in Halifax to be discussed

On Sunday, June 21, at 5 pm, Paul Crosier will discuss the history of the Crosier family at the Halifax Union Society, 44 Stowe Mountain Road. The talk will focus in particular on Crosier’s father, Lawrence E. (Larry) Crosier, who became a member of the Society as a child.

Brothers John and Robert Crosier settled in Halifax in 1762 and the Crosier descendants have lived in Halifax and surrounding towns ever since. Larry was born in Halifax Center and lived there his entire life, operating an antique auto parts business and working as the custodian of the Union Society grounds and surrounding properties.

This is the first of a series of secular programs the society will present this year, drawing upon the depth and strength of the community. All are welcome to attend. There will be a social hour following the program.
