Reggaefest, Sink or Skim, and Duct Tape Derby on tap at Mount Snow
Spring skiing arrives at Mount Snow with the resort’s annual Reggaefest weekend, Friday, March 20 through Sunday, March 22, featuring live reggae music, the 100-foot Sink or Skim Pond Skim, and the creative Duct Tape Derby. Saturday’s pond skim challenges skiers and riders to glide, or spectacularly splash across the water, while Sunday’s derby races homemade sleds crafted from duct tape and cardboard.
The fun continues the following weekend for the end‑of‑season block party on Saturday, March 28. Enjoy free live music by Kale from 5 to 8 pm, local food trucks, and après party for passholders in 1900’ Burger from 4 to 5 pm, including complimentary drink tickets to toast an incredible season.
And don’t miss out on the fun next year. Epic Passes for 2026/2027 are on sale now at the lowest price of the year. New this season, skiers and riders ages 18 to 30 can take 20% off both the Epic Pass and Epic Local Pass, Vail’s best-ever pricing for young adults.
