Deerfield Valley Rescue benefit raises $62,000

On November 7, a fundraiser was held for the benefit of Deerfield Valley Rescue to support our new ambulance fund. We would like to thank Ilene Winters, who came up with the idea, and coordinated the entire event. Thanks also goes to Valley Craft Ales who graciously hosted the evening. The additional sponsors were 1MTN, Bartleby’s Books, Deerfield Valley Real Estate, Farm Road Estate, Fisher & Fisher Law, Mount Snow/Vail Resorts, Ratu’s Liquor and Market, River Valley Market, Starfire Bakery, The Richards Group, VAMS, W & B Management, Wilmington Works, and WW Building Supply. Your involvement in this event added to its great success. Peter Miles Band entertained us while Trip Morse and Mark Wallace spoke of the importance of our services.
We are humbled by and extraordinarily grateful for the outpouring of support from our community. An amazing $62,000 was raised by the end of the night. To date we have raised $83,920 towards our goal of $200,000. We are dedicated to bringing the Valley the best emergency medical services possible and all of you help to make this happen.
The extraordinary generosity shown is truly appreciated and many thanks to all that contributed to our success.
