Heartfelt thanks from combat veterans
To the Editor,
It was an honor and a privilege to be the recipients of stunning handmade quilts made by the Deerfield Valley chapter of the Quilts of Valor on Veterans Day. The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing quilts of valor.
The presentation was made at the First Congregational Church in West Dover, beautifully conducted by pastor Jeremy Kirk during the Sunday service.
