A paean for more prayer in public life
To the Editor:
I think it’s about time we reinstated public prayer in America. Why did we abolish this custom anyway? How many people were injured by praying? How many people died by praying? How many people caught a fatal disease by praying? No one! Public prayer doesn’t hurt anyone - but it can help.
