Urges Scott not to forget about unhoused vets

To the Editor,
As Gov. Phil Scott lifts up his work to protect Vermont’s veterans, advocates and veterans urge him to not forget about the unhoused Vermont veterans who will lose their shelter next week because of his administration’s recent announcement that days used under Executive Order 03-25 count toward a household’s annual 80-day limit under the state’s General Assistance Emergency Housing program. Advocates and veterans urge Gov. Scott to rescind the letter and immediately and honor the true terms of his executive order.
