VERMONT - On Friday, representatives and officials involved in health care throughout the state gathered  for a virtual press briefing regarding vaccine access in Vermont.
The overarching message of the briefing was that at a state level, Vermont is dedicated to ensuring continued access to vaccines, including the COVID-19 vaccine.
The press briefing was held in the wake of a meeting of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), at a time when the efficacy and safety of vaccines is being questioned by some federal officials.
