WILMINGTON- Contractors working to fix the Route 9 bridge over the river in Wilmington Village have extended their estimated completion date until Thanksgiving or later, the town’s highway superintendent, Marshall Dix, told the selectboard at their regular meeting Tuesday evening.
The repair project had been due to be completed by Friday, November 14, but has been delayed because the appearance of a new hole in the paving requires more work, Dix told the board.
