Slideshow: "No Kings" rally in Wilmington
People from Deerfield Valley towns gathered in Wilmington on Saturday, joining “No Kings” protests around the country. Deerfield Valley Indivisible, the grassroots group that organized the local event, said there were between 330 to 350 people at Saturday’s rally. Speakers included Rep. Laura Sibilia, Rep. Emily Carris Duncan, Phil Schafer, Julie Muller, Brianna Harris, and Rebecca Dutton McGrail. According to organizers, local residents and second home owners were joined by weekend visitors staying at local inns.
