Catherine Brooks Brown
BRATTLEBORO - Catherine Brooks “Kate” Brown, 89, of Taft Brook Road in East Dover, died peacefully Monday morning, December 30, at Pine Heights following a period of declining health.
She was born at home in Wardsboro on June 28, 1935, the daughter of Herbert and Ilene (Bills) Brooks. Kate was raised and educated in Wardsboro where she attended local schools.
In 1953, she met the love of her life, Wallace “Wally” Brown, and they lived inseparably together until his death on May 7, 2020.
