TOWNSHEND - Kenneth C. Lemire, 91, died at home on August 19. Ken, the son of Clarence and Beatrice Lemire, was born in Willimantic, CT, on December 28, 1933. After finishing school, Ken joined the US Navy and served on the USS Orion as an electrician for five years. 
On July 2, 1955, Ken and Eleanor (Ellie) were married. Upon discharge from the Navy, he began employment with the CT Light and Power Company as a lineman. He absolutely loved his job and was an excellent lineman.
