AYER, MA - Wayne Howard Conrad, born August 9, 1940, in Lowell, died on September 4. He was 85.
Wayne was the son of Howard and Dorothy Conrad, founders of Conrad’s Drive-In in Lunenburg, MA. Many in town remember him from his decades of work at the family business, where he spent more than 40 years serving loyal customers.
He lived most of his life in Lunenburg and graduated from Lunenburg High School in 1959, where he played both baseball and basketball.
