Golden Horde squash the Wildcats

WILMINGTON- To quote Mary Chapin Carpenter, “Sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re the bug.”   
That was case last week for the Twin Valley high girls’ varsity soccer team. Following a big 2-1 win over rival Proctor High School, the Wildcats prospects were looking good. The team was playing with passion, solid tactics, and a strong defense.  They took that momentum into Friday’s match with top-ranked and undefeated West Rutland.
