The Campaign for Vermont has some interesting survey results, asking Vermonters what they think about how the state is governed. CFV describes itself as “a nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy organization dedicated to the vision of a more prosperous Vermont and a growing middle class.”  They say they seek to accomplish these goals by reconnecting Vermonters to their government and advocating for more transparent policy making.
