Senior meal at Community Hall this Friday

On Friday, June 19, the monthly senior meal will be served at the Halifax Community Hall, 20 Brook Road. The menu for the annual indoor picnic will feature fresh fruit ambrosia; hamburgers, hot dogs, and sausage with rolls, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles; potato salad; Texas beans; and dessert. Come at 11:30 am to socialize and enjoy an appetizer; the main meal will begin around noon. A suggested $4 donation, $5 for those younger than 60 years old, will help to support the event.
