Wilmington Town Plan update adds chapter on creative economy

WILMINGTON—A late addition to Wilmington’s updated town plan asserts the high value that the town places on its artistic and cultural community, and calls for policies that promote the work of creative professionals such as painters, potters, sculptors, and writers.
The town’s planning commission on Monday provisionally accepted a new chapter in the proposed plan that will be discussed at a public hearing on October 13 before being submitted, with any changes, to the Wilmington Selectboard for final approval sometime this fall.
