Actors walk on the dark side

BRATTLEBORO-  “The Forest Of Mystery” takes place each year in the Halloween season with the aid of a group of talented community actors, dancers, and musicians, as well as inventive costume and set designers. This interactive theatrical performance takes place in scenes staged along Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center’s beautiful candle-lit trails through forest and meadow on Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27.
A little bit about the Everwood: In a land far away, in a time long ago, there were the Ever Ones, humans that lived not for decades, but for thousands of years. They live their long lives banished to the forest, slowly joining with the forest itself. Some have become half rabbit or bird, some half rock or tree. But be careful, for there are many Ever Ones who have bonded with many things, including the Darkness.
Arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the journey. Participants will travel together on a trail that is about 1/2 mile in length. Organizers strongly suggest wearing comfortable hiking shoes and dressing warmly. The performance is recommended for ages 6 and older.
Hour-long journeys begin every 15 minutes, from 6:15 to 8:30 pm.  Admission is $15 for adults and $8 for children.
