Winter Cabaret and “Christmas Carol” reading in Weston this weekend

WESTON— The Weston Theater Company invites audiences to kick off the holiday season with two Weston traditions: the eighth annual Weston Winter Cabaret and a free community Reading of “A Christmas Carol.” This festive double feature weekend event will be presented at Weston’s Walker Farm Theater, 705 Main Street, Thursday through Saturday, December 4 through 6, as part of the community’s “Christmas in Weston” celebration.
The Weston Winter Cabaret brings music and a little mayhem to the stage. Directed by Megumi Nakamura, the show features a cast of Weston favorites including Jacob Brandt, Devin Johnson, Maya L’Abbe, Grace Martini, Isaiah Reynolds, Tomias Robinson, and Alex Tan. Holiday sweaters are optional; good cheer guaranteed.
The winter cabaret is playing on Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6, at 7 pm. All proceeds from this event support the Weston Young Company, the theater’s program for nurturing early-career artists.
On the same weekend, Weston hosts a free community Reading of “A Christmas Carol.” This 60-minute show includes music, audience participation, and a post-show carol sing-along. Shows are Thursday, December 4, at 7 pm, and Saturday, December 6, at 3:30 pm.
This event is free, but reservations must be made in advance. Donations are encouraged and will support the Weston Fire Department and Weston Theater Company.
Tickets and reservations are now available. Early booking is encouraged due to limited seating. Go to westontheater.org or call (802) 824-5288 for reservations or more information.
