Toastmasters meet twice monthly

For more than 100 years, Toastmasters International has created an environment where members prepare and deliver speeches, respond to impromptu questions, and give and receive constructive feedback.

The local BrattleMasters club meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, at 6 pm, in the Windham Regional Career Center, next to the high school; enter at 70 Atwood Street. For the Zoom link email Carolyn at onlyhandy@gmail.com.

In addition to the speech and evaluation, there will be a timer, an “ah” counter, a grammarian, and a table topics master to lead the extemporaneous speaking portion.

Although there is a small fee to join (membership is for people 18 or older), there is no fee to observe a meeting either in person or online. The website is https://brattleboro.toastmastersclubs.org/.
