Last week we published an article about a noted folklore author who will be spending a weekend in Dover later this month, spinning yarns and telling tales about unexplained phenomena.  It’s all part of the buildup to Halloween at the end of the month. As most people know that is the unofficial holiday of fright. People go out of their way to make up costumes and events to scare the bejeezus out of others.    
The thing about Halloween is that its scariness is all in good fun. The faux fear created is meant to be short-term and gone by the time November rolls around.
