History repeats itself in current events

Sometimes the dog days of summer have been referred to as “the silly season” when discussing politics and election campaigning.  During a presidential year that phrase was meant to refer to not much happening between the primaries, the conventions, and the fall sprint to the November elections.  
July 2024 will go down in history as anything but “silly.”   Events this month could have tremendous implications not only on this presidential election cycle, but for the future of the country.
