Tuesday, August 13, is election day in Vermont!
No, not THAT election. We’re talking about the Vermont primary.
Wait, didn’t we have a primary in March? Yes, Vermont held its presidential primary. But this Tuesday is the state primary that, in many ways, matters so much more. This election will go a long way to deciding who represents local communities at the Statehouse in Montpelier and who runs state government.
The thing is, there aren’t a lot of interesting races in the primary. That’s due in large part because there are few contested primary races.
