Playing the blues at Valley Craft Ales to support 9/11 survivors

James Montgomery

WILMINGTON—James Montgomery is looking forward to playing his blues to a couple of hundred people at Valley Craft Ales in Wilmington on Friday, September 11, just as much as he got a kick out of playing to 150,000 people at a monster gig with the Allman Brothers Band way back in the early ‘70s.
The 77-year-old blues harmonica player will be performing at VCA on the 25th anniversary of the infamous attacks on New York City’s World Trade Center in a show to benefit the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, which helps survivors of the 9/11 attacks and their families.
