ByWay Books to host staged reading on Valentine’s Day

ByWay Books & More, 399 Canal Street, will host the Tiny Theater acting ensemble for a staged reading of “Heisenberg: The Uncertainty Principle,” a play by Simon Stephens, a contemporary British playwright, on Saturday, February 14, from 3 to 5 pm. The play is set in London and tells the story of an unfolding chance encounter and a relationship between a 42-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man.

“Heisenberg” is the quintessential Valentine’s Day drama, presenting a life-altering moment between two strangers amid the frantic energy of a London train station. The play explores the unpredictable human connections that can shift the courses of lives forever.

Light refreshments will be served. The book shop is a cozy space with free parking off Lexington Avenue and is handicapped accessible with a ramp.
