More than just trash was cleaned up in Readsboro

To the Editor,
On behalf of the Readsboro Selectboard we would like to thank Jody Berard-Kemp and the Walter Case American Legion for doing an outstanding job with Green Up Day.
Jody, with the help of members of the Jack Pines Pirate ATV group, spent the day hauling dozens of tires up over banks as well as other various household items, going above and beyond just picking up trash on the sides of the road.
We would also like to thank the American Legion for once again providing a barbecue for participants. They do this every year and it is greatly anticipated and appreciated.
