Wildcats end season with losses to LGUHS and West Rutland
WHITINGHAM—The Twin Valley baseball team ended the season with a pair of losses to difficult opponents that saw them slip slightly in the Division 4 standings headed into the playoffs.
On Tuesday, May 26, Twin Valley lost 6-4 in eight innings at home on Senior Night to No. 2 ranked Leland & Gray (10-4).
Two days later, the Wildcats (6-7) fell 12-2 to No. 4 ranked West Rutland (8-6).
The team’s final game of the season, which was scheduled against Paine Mountain, who finished the season 4-8 in Division 3, was canceled due to weather.
