Auditions set for Tony-nominated musical
WILMINGTON - The Deerfield Valley Players, a community theater group based in Memorial Hall are planning to rock the Deerfield Valley this summer with a production of “Xanadu,” the Tony award-nominated Broadway musical about following one’s dreams despite the limitations that others set. It features an unconventional campy story that blends the golden age of 1940s musicals and 1980s new wave sound augmented by mythological muses and a roller-skating disco.
