An evening of stories showcase Bennington’s uniqueness

BENNINGTON - On Wednesday, November 5, at the Bennington Theater, 331 Main Street, there will be an evening of stand-up storytelling with a twist. Presenters will tell true, Bennington-related stories using 20 slides that advance automatically every 20 seconds, creating an engaging, fast-paced experience.
The theme is “Only in Bennington.” Enjoy long-time locals and newer residents sharing personal tales, memorable events, and fascinating insights about the community.
Presenters will include Greg Van Houten, GVH Studios; Andrew Hall, Bike Hub; Chrissie Burr, Molly Stark; Bethany Lorge, Pownal Elementary; Jess Bouchard, Queer Connect; McKinley Keaffaber, Mount Anthony Union High School senior and former museum intern; and Susan Wright, Wright Dolls.
Damien McCaffery, assistant director of engagement and editorial projects at Bennington Museum, leads the event.
Doors open at 6 pm; performances begin at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15 for Bennington Museum or Bennington Theater members and $15 advance purchase or $20 at the door for not-yet-members. Go to benningtonmuseum.org for more information.
